- 1 cup water
- A pinch of salt
- Some salad for decoration

Step 1
Peel butternut and cut in large pieces.
Step 2
In a saucepan cook butternut in water and salt (or steam).
Step 3
Cover and cook slowly.
Step 4
Crush the butternut using a fork or a mixer.
